Jack Can Leave the House
On Monday September 23rd, Jack had a motions hearing for his case. At this hearing he was granted a curfew and can now leave the house from 7am-8pm!Despite not being convicted of any crime, Jack has spent the past 8 months in confinement in jail or at home. This will be a huge change for Jack and he is excited to be back out in the world with his friends and community while he continues to fight his case. September Update
An update from Jack’s support crew: It has now been over six months since Jack was arrested following the raid of his Atlanta home on February 8. He spent nearly two months behind bars–the bulk of this time spent in Fulton County Jail, notorious for its dangerously poor conditions and overcrowding. For weeks, Jack was refused vegetarian meal trays and access to his commissary funds. April Update
In a significant development in Jack’s legal battle, on March 29, a judge in Fulton County Court granted him bond! With this decision, Jack will be released from jail in the coming days, reuniting him with his loved ones and community. Fulton County often delays releasing people who have been granted bond, but we will advocate rigorously to ensure his quick release. The cash bond amount was set for $75,000 and Jack was ordered 24-hour house arrest. Punk Music
Jack has supported and been involved with DIY music around the country and in Atlanta for many years. Finding a straight edge community in hardcore punk meant the world to Jack. For years he lived in and ran a sober DIY show space, purposely booking shows to fundraise for causes he believed in and centering marginalized voices in punk. Jack’s commitment to supporting the DIY music community reflects how he lives out his values of generosity and social justice. Rock Climbing

Support the Fund
Jack and his support system need funds to pay for his lawyer fees and other court costs. This fund also covered Jacks commissary, jail phone calls, bills, and home repairs from the destructive police raid.
